Tips
For a successful message,
- Write at least two lines, using the 'return' button on your
phone keyboard.
- The last word of each line must rhyme with at least one other
last word. For example, Kiki will accept the rhyme schemes AA,
AABB, ABAB, AABBA, etc. But Kiki will not accept AABA, AABBC,
etc.
- Kiki doesn't understand emoji, proper names, foreign languages,
or made-up words, so don't put them in rhyming position at the
end of a line.
- Meter doesn’t matter to Kiki, so e.g. this poem is fine:
It's casual but not comfortable to wear jeans...
Aw, beans.
- Rhyming one word with multiple words, like "Dewar
/ you are," is fancy and good, but unfortunately too
fancy for Kiki (you will have to OVERRIDE).
- Kiki's idea of a rhyme is picky—it starts with the
most-emphasized syllable of a word. So Entrancing rhymes
with Dancing ("AN-sing" is in common). But it doesn't rhyme
with Sing, because Sing is not long enough.
If rejected by Kiki,
- Troubleshoot your message with these tips
- Or reply OVERRIDE to force the message through
(Kiki's rhyming dictionary is inflexible and might
not recognize all rhymes in your dialect)
